6 tips for improving accountability in your business

A friend of mine, named Stew, is the owner of a medical practice. He reached out to me recently for some advice regarding the lack of accountability among his staff.

He’s got a solid staff that’s emotionally invested in the success of the practice, and despite being in business for over 10 years, he’s experiencing some very common problems:

  • A steady decline in overall work quality 
  • Things not getting done on time or without constant follow-up 
  • Lots of excuses instead of taking responsibility
Stew asked me if I offered a program to help his employees become more accountable. Yes, I have a program for that, but it’s focused on actually solving the problem: helping the owner learn how to hold his staff accountable.
